I am not sure if anyone else is seeing this problem with skinning...so far, I have not seen many z sphere creations that have been skinned yet...but...I build my character, it looks great as zspheres, but when I hit the skin button...creases form all over the model..is this something anyone else has seen and if so, what have you done to alleviate this?
Thanks

Hi there!
We'll be putting out a lot more information on skinning in the near future, but for now the best things to help you are the ZScript tutorials that come with ZBrush and experimentation. As you experiment, remember to press A after each change to see how that affected the mesh. Pressing A again will return you to the ZSphere display. It may also help to have the Polyframe view turned on (in the Preferences palette) so that you can see the wireframe.
Adaptive skins are great for creating small details, but have the disadvantage of requiring careful placement of your spheres. The tutorials that come with v1.51 explain a few more modifiers that help. The more you work with them, the more you will be able to anticipate the results and the faster you will get.
Unified skins aren't so sensitive, but they also create a large mesh with fewer possible details.
Each type has its own places where it is the most useful. Again, the more you use them, the more easily you will be able to harness the power of ZSpheres!

I think we could all use a very good Zscript on this subject.
I agree good scripts will help a great deal.
My head is getting sore from beating it on the desk cause I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW HANDS WERE MADE. I see hands on the Orge that southern did and in one of the pics from the 1.5 advertisment thread and I cant do it with out the mesh being all messed up.
Please some scripts show how you do this.
