View Full Version : works with zbrush
hello!... it's a different post, as it is only works with assignements... let me add that often, working on order produce much less "free" pictures, as you have to "deal" with a lot of other advice, before finish the work... but maybe, for those who want to work in 3d field, it's intterestring to show these pioctures...jobcochon.jpg
a french photographer, Yann Arthus Bertrand, who did "Earth from sky", shooted the following advertisings, for a veterinar (doctor for animals) laboratory; I have been commissioned to do the "christmas" version, as replicas of the precedent photos... quicly, zbrush in 2,5, with the alpha tools, has been the good choice for create the snow... (of course the model, too)... I join the photos of Y.A. Bertrand...jobarthusbertrand.jpg
and the cows... the trees are post worked, but the foreground is textured by photo on alpha's pixols, and of course the characters too...jobveau.jpg

Great Job :-)
All the Snow is modeling?
Or Trees with snow are from photo's?
If it is from Photo is a great Job to integrate by color and sureface!
If not, is a great Job of Tree's !!!
that one, in the modelled step, has been used on the home page of z... here is the color version, with also a lot of painted post work, as always in job, wher the frontier between 2d and 3d is very fuzzy; the render is done in carrara,; oh, the render of the two pictures above, the pig and the cow, are full zbrush; material 11 of the material pack, with more specular, and less bump...jobskate.jpg tha skate picture , with 5 more, has been done for swiss union bank, where that sort of little "tonics" cows are emblematic!
jobdiable.jpg done in z2, for Saatchi medical healthcare, and based on a french joke, impossible to translate... (for french : saatchi, l'agence au QI d'enfer); fire is post worked, everything else loddelled, textured and rendered in z...

jobdollar.jpg here, a typical "cosmopolite" work: the head, and a part of the shoullders, are modelled, textured and rendered in z2; the background is modelled in rhino, and rendered in carrara; the hands and computer are photo, composited in photoshop; the table is just painted; wooofff!!!! but the deadline was one day, even withj the difference of hours between usa and france (it was us agency), it was short!
last work, for Glencoe publishing, the "rebuild" of a mayan temple... snapshooted in pixols, then textured, and rendered in z2...glencoe.jpg
Oh my god. This is just amazing. My favorite are the pictures with the snow. Excellent.
and at the end, a personal picture, just done on my admiration for Terry Gilliam "las vegas parano"... (and, as all persons who love pictures, Las vegas is one of my favorite us town!)... hands (the modelled version has been used on the home page, too),faces and so on, modelled, textured, but exported out of z, for render...vegas copiea4.jpg
