Good modelling of the body, are the edges intentional, cause you could get them out by masking them and applying the smooth deformer

Nice! I don't think that you should erase the edges, they give it a nice quality. Without them it would look like an unfinished torso. The way it is now it looks like it's complete, this would be a great model for an sculpture.
