Wow man, that's just amazing!!!

You make it sound so easy!
Maybe you could share the technique you've used to acheive this masterpeice!

If possible, in Maya with maybe MR or Turtle, or even with simply Maya Renderer!

Anyway, I give it 110 ou of 100 man!
Cheers!

Great model and awesome animation.

Which software was used for the animation?, the base mesh is made at ZB or any other 3d software?

Greetings

Amazing work gabe .... your skillz are growing so fast ...

Can you do a little explanation about your blend displacement method ?
I suppose this is done in XSi ... how did you manage to have so beautifull result ... In my own test i still have some steam or wierd geometry problems.
Without the fur how long to render for a single frame ?

I have read that XSi 4 have some issus with displacement.

Anyway really impressive work dude.

Jaw dropped...this is REALLY impressive I've never seen anything like it!

I wish there was a tutorial for this kind of stuff!

You made such a cool movie though I have to wonder why you didn't bother even doing the eyes

those animated displacements kick ass. A1 on the animation job too. I love how he jitters as he flexes. It seems that this should make it's way into any pro pipeline since I think this character is almost of big screen quality.

Is there any way to rig the displacement animation to say the bending of a joint?

I have just made a plugin to allow you to do this kind of animation in Max very easily. Check it out :)

Hi this is the best forum i have ever seen. I saw that werewolf anim quite a while ago and when i set about making a model for my first attempt with zb it was with that inspiration in mind. Then, not only do i see this on my first day on the forum, but someone chucks a max plugin into the mix to help make it happen. Its amazing. I just wanted to say so. Great forum.:tu:
