I posted a question a week or so ago regarding using ZB to create a reliefs using alphas and turn a picture into a 3-D relief. Needless to say I have been working on this and keep experimenting with it. The results so far are very promising. The idea is to do the 3-D relief and then use the model to run parts on my CNC mill. I am not trying to create a full 3-D object only a shallow relief about .250 deep.
After experimenting with it for a while I have gotten to the point where I could really use some hands on help to make it work better and take full advantage of ZB power. I’m not really sure where to take it from here. I am looking to see if there is anyone in my neck of the woods that might be willing to get together with me on a one on one basis. I live in Riverside Ca. This is what I am thinking, I am willing to trade some of my time and expertise for a top notch z-Brusher willing to do the same. It would be really helpful if the person knows Photoshop very well too. In trade I am offering to mill some parts or a figure for someone. Basically turning your model into a real world prototype / sculpture. I work in the toy industry as a sculptor and model maker and just to get an idea of what I do you can check out my web at www.bnt4cncrp.com (http://www.bnt4cncrp.com/) it will fill in the details of what I am offering.
SO if there are any ZB Photoshop wizards out there who might be interested in a time trade PLEASE get in touch with me.
