View Full Version : Eyes
Ok now that I have this, whats the best/easiest way to add eyes to this model?
I want the eyes to stay where they are too, I do not want to add them every time I load this model.

To permenently add eyeballs to this model, you will want to use multimarkers for each object, and then create a polymesh. You will end up with a new tool that has the eyes incorporated into the model.

Or if you have ZBrush 2, you can use the Insert Local Mesh feature to place the eyes.
Create a simple structure consisting of three ZSpheres, insert the head in the middle one and the eyes in the sockets, and adjust them until they're in place. As how I understood it, Local Meshes are saved on disk with the tool.

I am not a zb pro by any means but I think you are going to have problems getting eyes to fit properly in those sockets. I've found that you need a nice deep socket that is somewhat oval for best placement. Good luck and please post your results.

If you were to multimesh a head and eyes, will both head and eyes have the same texture? I seem to recall texturing a head with TextureMaster and adding textured eyes and then multimesh and the entire group got the same texture. Sorry I can't experiment right now so thought I'd ask.
If you do get one texture, how do you get around this? Like Lobo, I want to add props and have them all part of the same model. Would I have to multimesh all parts together and then texture afterwards?
Thanks.
