View Full Version : Anyway to manually edit UVs in version 2?

For instance, I need to rearrange/sew the GUVTiles into more discreet groups like I can in Max. From what I've seen, I can't use the old tried and true way of working.

I jumped the gun on this one. Normally I map stuff in Max, so it's not a problem, but in this case, I thought it might be better to just do it all in Zbrush.

Am I missing something?

ZBrush's UV mapping methods are all "no muss, no fuss." In other words, click a button and you're done.

For more precise control of your UV's, you would need to use a program that is designed for it. ZBrush will make use of any UV's that are assigned to a model.
