Hi everyone, I just finished modeling an Austrailian Blue-Banded Death Worm, and I'm having texture problems.
I was getting invalid page fault shutdowns when picking up an object in texturemaster, (that hasn't happended before), so I painted the adaptive mesh of the worm while in edit mode with with rgb selected, markered it and then added the markered teeth. When I made a polymesh, it came up with this garbled texture. Any thoughts? Thanks. 50.

You shouldn't need the texture if you painted the polys in edit mode, should you?

I did the same thing today, I modeled a frog that would crash TextureMaster every time, so I just painted the polys in edit mode. Not near as nice, but it will have to do for now.

Great worm!

50's, select your polymeshed object and set the Tool ::modifiers ::Texture ::Fix Seam Border to 1 and press Fix Texture Seam. That should fix most of the artifacts but probably not all.

Hi Vlad74, thanks.

Hi KingSalami, I wanted more control over the painting such as the teeth, inside of the mouth, etc. I wasn't sure of the placement in the scene, yet. Plus I might do more than one pic. I like to be able to just grab a finished model and move it around.
Thanks.

Tveyes, thanks, I will try that. Z ya guys. 50.
