Violet -- My first real sculpture

This is my first real serious attempt to do a human head sculpture. I know the proportion between the nose & lip is a little off but I wanted to share it anyways. I hope to get some constructive comments. And yes I added the frame in Photoshop.

HEY...NICE HAIR DUE,WHEN CAN YOU SET ME UP WITH HER...and the earings are niclly done,what material did you use on the earings? :tu: :tu:

I used the jellybean material and sculpted them from a sphere, then added the silver rings using the metal reflective material.

The modelling and accessories are really nice. The fiberbrush can be a bit tough figuring out at first. I really like how you did the hair and earrings :tu:

very nice first head model, Northstarr! hair and jewellry is excellent. Violet just needs to use mascara with a lil more care but this seems to come with her somewhat wild character :D + :tu: :tu: :tu: keep them coming!

I knew I would get comments about her lashes! The truth is I had enough undo chosen to take them off (I was experimenting using the fibre brush to make eyelashes) but they sort of suited her face & the character I had in mind - so I left them on!! I guess it's the non-conformist in me.. hee hee :p
Seriously though, any tips are appreciated!

My niece would love this. She is a purple fanatic. PS: If you ever get the knack on eyelashes, please help me...I cannot do them at all. That's why my characters never have any.
