Still trying to figure out the best workflow between Maya and ZBrush...

Zbrush has proven a tremendous help in sculpting morph targets for blend shapes - the feedback is much more immediate than using Maya's own sculpting tools and it really is impressive how many polygons one can push around like butter without it grinding to a halt.

Here's a character I've been working on as I learn the package:

Stay tuned for textures and, eventually, animation...

I like the facial expresion on him! Would make a fun animation for sure!
Good luck!

I recognize that little fella. Shouldn't he be green and glowing?

There's somethin' strange, in yo' neighborhood...

I swear I didn't do it on purpose - funny how movies have a way of penetrating deep into your psyche.

Yeah, it was instant for me, my buds worked on that project. Not to mention that character has been used in a lot of tutorials, demos, examples, yadda, yadda - you have been subliminally programmed!

Here he is with more topological detail added around the nose, lips and hands. (Can I just say, the "smart resym" button in Zbrush rocks!). I also played around with a shading network for him. Neutral pose done, off to make my blendshapes...
