Very nice! I'm not a fan of his head, but if you're going to continue editing, I'll hold off on the crit. The anatomy is rock solid, extremely well done. I'm looking forward to seeing how this guy ends up. Great work.

I agree...the body is tops....work the head a bit more and then a bet c and C can be given.....

the link for your pic showed up emtpy for me....could you check it to make sure its not just me having the prob....

keep up the fantastic modeling.....what prog was the 2 pic rendered with...I notice a seam at the groin...did you do it in halves or something?

thnx

I like the head...not sure if I like the z2 scrubbing of it...but it's hard to tell sometimes til ya see how it's textured so go for it.

I agree with Ron about that seam....was that pic done with a virtual mirror or a real mirror...ie the model mirrored and attached...if so...ya might want to check that seam....I can see it all the way up.

only crit I would have at this point is the torso seems kinda disproportionate to the rest of the body....muscles....like his torso should be taller and as muscular as the rest. It just seams a bit out of whack...and I only mentioned it cuz the body itself is too human and there for should be better proportioned kinda thing. or make the torso more muscular to fit the orc image you have....I am not sure what your vision is....so just an idea of a place to look at.

Anyways....look forward to your progress with this ogre.

I just wanted to know about your technique as far as painting the fine eye details. Projection master? on low size and z intensity? whats a good way make to make creases, wrinkles? Im new to zbrush and havent done much detailing in it. mostly just figuring out the workflow to get disp and normal maps into different apps and renderers.

pixo.path,
exellent attention and control of the detail welldone. I should probably tell you how well you've mastared the human anatomy.
I have a few criticisms and comments which I hope you pay due notice to.
1 - Why on earth would you use such a detailed model? Pre-Zbrush that is. I think in the future keep your models simpler.I wonder why you did'nt model the niples in this case?
2 - LOL for such great skill your creativity ends at the head? I think the over perfect body builder look for monsters and creatures is out of fasion by now don't you think?( not saying that I conform to fasion:))

On the design side of your character, I think , at least speaking for the face, its very interesting. Kind of like a killer bunny " Donnie Darkoe " style? Whats his purpose , out of interest?
On the anatomy side....Is that the Latismas Dorsie or wings??

Well done mate at least I appricate the amount of time its taken you to reach this level.

Very nice pixo.path. Cant wait to see a full "zbrushed" version, seems like it will be one mean bastard ;) when its complete. I find amazing how the mandibula connects, hope you go with the fine tendrill look for other muscular parts of the creature. Hey...and throw in some cool armour and you got my vote for "THING I wouldnt like to be found by in a dark alley". :D Carry on.

And just to clarify my comments on his head, I was NOT saying it's bad, just that it could use more detail work. Are you going to show us a full pic of the guys zbrushed head and body soon? That'd rock. You have tremendous skills.
