View Full Version : Storytime - WIP
I have a friend who loves anything with pigs in it, and she also happens to love spending time with her granddaughters. So, I am doing a picture for her of a Granny pig reading to her little piglets. This is the Granny pig's head...I would appreciate any insight before I proceed much further. Don't know what to do about hair ???

Very nice. Care to share how you did the eyes? Is that a material or painted on?

Great start Slosh...Love the eyes...really beautiful irises. Now what to do about the hair. I would make a tight curl tool out of the spiral tool...texture it grey streaky and repeat it all over her head. Just a suggestion.
Good luck with it.
Cheers. :)

hey, great pig...you made it look really granny...awesome job. thos eyes are amazing as well (as everyone has pointed out).
about hair, you could just nix the idea (i think she'd look fine bald). or you might try some sort of granny-looking hat (these are suggestions if hair's too hard or you don't want to do it). anyway, those are just my thoughts. again, great pic.

Thanks for the suggestions. Granny hat...hmmm. That may work (or the spirals as curls, Belleski).
Can't really take credit for the eyes. Someone posted about 6 .psd eye textures awhile back, and I love every one of them. This is the one I call hazel eyes. Anyway, sorry for not remembering who posted them, but I use them all the time now.
