Doing some texture work and creating some cave parts models then testing the models and came up with a design (mirrored the image in a graphics program and added boarder) - kinda looks like a fractal to me ;)

Cool Spaceman!
All of life we see before us is a fractal. It's what makes science, math and philosophy so much fun to learn.
May you discover more! and perhaps a new one!

aminuts thanks for taking the time and looking at the image and posting your comments. After reading your post I looked at the inmage again and I learned two things 1. making cave parts leads to fractals :D 2. at the bottom center it looks like a person and the fractal spawing from the image of the person

hahaha does the cave created make a fractal or does a fractal create the cave?
I think I see what you mean if.......the fractal looks like its eminating from the persons head. other wise we see two things and that is another beauty of fractals, ie clouds ie leaves, ie ink blots, ie frost, ie just about everything we see hehehee. all see the beauty but not in the same ways. how cool is that?
if you like fractals I had posted a few up on my site which is undergoing a rehaul at the moment but this page is available....only a few images there (as it is under construction) with what i think is the best fractal program I have tried....pay for or free or shareware...when I remember its name I will post a link for it
edit: hahaha it would help if i posted the link to images eh? dohhhhh
you'll have to excuse the compression from jpgs were originally 1024 images crunched to 800 so as not to kill folks like me with old fashioned modems but they are still pretty cool.

Hi Space
I believe that now Zb2 Can make realy Fractal object :)
Try to to use the function that allow to any Zsphere child an 3D object!
Maybe this one ? (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbrush/zbrush2/images/zspheres/insert.jpg)
(I have seen an another exemple of this function but not refind it for the moment :(
If you make an object with Zsphere and put this object in each child of this object you have a fractal object :D
Fractal isn't it ? :)
(maybe you must make an adaptative or unified mesh of the first object before apply the function?

Yes maybe the fractal is spawing the image of the person- note: Make science fiction short ideal “The Fractal That Saw A Person” :)
Thanks for the fractal link - Besides looking at them I find some usage for them as textures
Pilou thanks for the links - the zsphere insert local mesh and the fractal program

Hi spaceman...yeah they can come in handy for textures and bumps....when I can find the program again I'll let you know cuz you can also do them in black and white or white and black (and all shades of gray inbetween) and I have had a blast in the past creating alphas with them.
