View Full Version : always alphas
Hi... I join at this picture the little drawings used to make the arms and the legs of the character; as you see, it's very simple, just after a little push-pull in editr mode to break the profile style, and youpi, that's done... http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1032643115ksw.jpg
just the black and white first version http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1032643204xib.jpg
the candle is just a cylinder; the riser of the "thing" under the candle is also an alpha, making 3d in 256 resolution, and 9 dephth... Friendly M.

A really helpful technique you have demonstrated here. Good for things that do not require a lot of definition. It is conceiveable that an entire character could be built this way. But I, like you, really need to see some sharp edges on those "Make 3D", unified skins. Could an adaptive skin be produced from an alpha, I wonder?

Ps Why do you separe images?
Some people can insert something inbetween and so we lost the path of demonstration :)
