This is my rendition of one of the Mystics in the cult classic, "The Dark Crystal"

Hitch2, the candle light effect was done using a combination of the highlighter II brush, black fog and a radial light to very softly illuminate the edges in the image

Yeah Chicko, I've seen the Labyrinth a few times, David Bowie's songs are a bit cringy now, but the effects are still fantastic.

omg...Grub...cringy..LOL....very nice work Chick. Love both movies and have labrynth on tape...one of m favs, and normally I am not into that type of thing...Dark Crystal's characters are all good pieces that would look kewl worked over in zbrush. I hope you will continue.... :tu: :tu: :tu:

I agree with you on Bowe's songs. However I still can't get used to the pants he wears for the duration of the movie. Still I love those puppets.

No dictionary at hand - so for the word "cringy" i have nothing to say ;)

The Labyrinth is a masterpiece of puppet animation and Bowies score is phenomenally accomodating this.

I watched the dark chrystal too long ago but your picture is so excellently done i immediately recognized it as a dark chrystal creature.

Excellent tribute to some fine artisans! One of my alltime favorite movies and you clearly did it justice! Now, will you do the skeksis ands the gelflings! Or even the Landstryders! Great job!
