Hi!

http://www.cgmill.com/ss/gallery_3d/z20040908_01.jpg

- Color texture and deformations are painted in Zbrush2. I also extracted a displacement map after the model was ready and then applied it to the cage mesh in 3dsmax.
- This time i tried to do fleshy looking color map....

- Base mesh/model was created in Silo. Tilemapped UVs created in ZBrush 2.

- Rendered in 3dsmax. Post work in Photoshop.

CnC welcome!

hi sami

love your stuff as always but I have a question on this one.

in your title you call this character a cadaver....but he has alot of color like he was alive. Was just wondering;) a bit about that as I am not sure what your intention with this fella is?

Thanks for comments!

- Well isn't a cadaver same as a corpse? ;) - I was after something like underwater zombies in old Lucio Fulci movies or corpses in Yuzna's Lovecraft movie Re-animator - If you have seen the movie, do you remember those re-animated guys in morgue?

- I don't feel he looks too alive, even if the lighting is red/yellow... I tried to do a rotten look - Did you mean that frozen blue/white skin tone or similar colors would maybe work better?

Hi sami,

loved the re-animator movie haha saw it at the theatre when it came out, found it pretty funny. Anyway.....yeah when I saw the title....cadaver.....was thinking more of how a real corpse would look. But if your going for a re-animated sort of fella then he's gotta have some oxygen pumping action going I reckon!;)
I am still waiting for a zombie or corpse to be brought back to life that is the color of a real dead person complete with coloring where the blood pooled. But that probably wouldn't make for a very interesting looking character....I am a bit weird I reckon!
