here's a little something i made for the chess-contest over at zbrush.de:

based on a rather detailed wings3d mesh i did a little detailing in Z, added color, materials and had my very first try at building somethin that comes close to a scene in Z. gave me a hard time and i still don't understand how lighting shadows really work.
there's no texture at all, because i wanted to give the cavity shading a try.

unfortunately i couldn't do too much detailing, since my crappy old comp at home (athlon 1600, 512 ram) brought my modeling to a screeching halt at subdiv level 4 with about 1 mill. polys.
