I put together the background images from one of the images I posted in the Out of the Water and Onto Land posthere (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=015515)

Learning some about zspheres from the zscripts posted here at ZBC the zsphere models used in the images though, where not created by me, I used them to start learning how to texture zspheres. And a Thank You to the posters that have posted zscripts for learning, Z2 and Ztools.

Hi Space
Your creatures seems "facetted" ?
Maybe with a more smooth (texture or material) they will appear more realistic ?
Also a best render + shadows maybe more astonished ?

Thanks Pilou. I re-did the image with the robot type model and did a best render with shadows (as you said in your post)- it pushed the background back more (more depth between background and the model) and moved the light (ist light)to be more on the robot- more depth to image. I think most of the faceting is from the textures used too. Thanks for your help on improving the images. Seeing the depth of field looked ok so I added fog and got this image.
