Night Hunt

Following in the theme of the larger images of animals, I decided to attempt making a wolf. Here is yesterdays results.

Thank you again Polaris30! :D Glad that you like the fur, it is done with the fiber brush with a low intensity and Zadd turned off. That seems to work the best for me.

I agree that the eyes are the windows to the soul in this one ;)
The image has a soft, almost cartoonish feel, especially with the painterly feel to the sky...

bicc39, thanks again, I am really getting into the fiber brush, though I have been trying out actual fiber shaders as well. Also doing eyes in Zbrush is one of the best and easiest ways I have found. :)


Thank you jantim, I was trying to go for a late evening early night sky. I liked the way the colors were working with the color of the wolfs fur. :)


Thanks again NLightUK, though the cartoon feel wasn't at first intentional, but while I was painting the sky it started to go in that direction so I stayed with it. :)
