I have grown to like the spray brushes. They appear to give a very different effect depending on the size of the brush usedand the intensity of the color. This is an experiment in which only the spray brush and the simple brush for the sky were used. Looked different, so I decided to share it, as this type of image has not appeared on the forum as yet.

I like this Joe. An interesting experiment with a slight leaning towards pointillism. I'm a fan of the spray stroke too, but haven't tried anything quite so bold as this where it is such an obvious and major component of the painting's structure. I like the muted palette too - reminds me of the last abstract I posted (colours only). Well done! :tu: :tu: :tu:

Amazing what those brushes can actually produce isn't it??? I tried the same thing and came up with something really wild, not suitable for posting like yours though, DeeVee!!

Beautiful DeeVee...I love this new direction.
It reminds me of the volcano photos you posted on the other side of the forum. This has a lot of depth and a haunting-haunted feeling. :tu: :tu:

Yes, I think you have captured a certain feeling of peace, here. Something about a complete purging of things and the calm that comes afterward.
