Thought i'd make a thread so all sculpting tips and tricks can be under one roof. I'm still quite new so hope to learn much.
3 things i've found so far. If any are wrong just say cos im new at this!!!! :)
1. Dont over-divide work on major volumes first then gradually divide when you've worked as much as you can.
2. Try not to work with z-intensity at 100% you always want a bit of leeway either side.
3. Instead of using a sphere to start a sculpting session try using a catmull-clark divided (subdiv) cube (like this one (http://www.apat67.dsl.pipex.com/smoothedcube.obj) ), you dont get poles this way.
Oh and I have a question, is there a quick way to swap between tool->geo->layer and tool->geo->smooth ?, using the menu is a pain in the proverbial.
PLEASE ADD YOUR OWN TIPS, TRICKS, AND TECHNIQUES SO WE CAN ALL LEARN, THANKS.
