I happened to watch a trailer today and had an hour spare time and It's been a while since I made something in 3d , so I might aswell start practising again. Some monsters for Ron ;)
I liked the poster on the avp site.

made in zbrush , rendering Cinema4d , some touch ups in ps.

Hi Sadicus
This texture is the cavity texture (in Zb2), discovered in the past by MtB in the same time than the Pixo team
as the Distressed effect (very good anthology thread) (http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=001664) ;)
(follow it, very good images inside  )
Have fun Zbrushing!
Pilou
Ps Of course this last Namek's predator is excellent :tu:

sorry i worded that incorrectly, was the displacement created with the Deco brush...? The lines in the face look great!

Well basicly I painted them with projectionmaster , the folds around the eyes are doen with the normal brush , draw size around 5 , and focus - 80 , zadd around 8 I guess.
The ones on the forehead are made by cutting lines in 2 directions forming a grid.
