Ever since I found out about Zbrush I've been doing commercials for it at school. Everyone's is sick of me! :) But I bought my own copy and I'm using it on a cartoon we are doing over the next two year. This is a test shot. The charactors were done in Z and the rest was modeled in XSI, with the fire being tweaked in Photoshop. One of the seniors (I'm in my first semester even though I'm 32) said that the charactors had about 3 months worth of work in them. Took me about eight hours including rigging the grandfather. (thank you zbrush!)I got tired of weighting so I just resculpted the grandson in position. I was working with a partner who handled most of the texturing and lighting. We got an "A". http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200405/user_image-1083957848yal.jpg

The picture posted pretty bright. The original was much darker and had much more ambiance.
