Totally inspirational man. Thank you very much!
Absolutely can not wait to see more. :D :tu:

Strike
06-14-04, 03:31 PM
Thanks alot Pilou ! :)

Mahlikus : In fact i started from Zphere for the main armor structure (kind of the same method i described in the practical guide), and then i added different elements such as modified plane, spheres, etc... multimarked on one and only object to the end.

The head is added by composition on the canvas after the armor.

Thanks alot ! :)

Does the Zscript for the orcs only work in V2. Im on a mac with v1.5 and the script stop after creating the first sphere?

Hi strike how do you go about creating them individual armour plates ? is it the same process of creating the helmet you did ?

Strike
06-15-04, 07:34 AM
Thanks all ! :)

About the armor, i created it from zphere for the main structure (i describe the method in the practical Guide), and then i put a marker on it. then i add different other pieces like modified spheres or planes and add details to them before marking them to the basic armor. Once i have a full armor, i add details.
I think the script only works with v2.

Here's the final one. I added textures from photoshop to Zbrush to get the result.

Hairs are added in 2D under photoshop from an orc picture i have been inspired for the pose of my image, such as color tones.

Here it is :

Do you still use Lightwave or is ZBrush the only software you're currently using?

Strike---->

Awsome work and script! I was watching today and I was wondering if you could tell me how you did that trick after you were done modeling your z-spheres and made the adaptive skin- Instead of clearing the canvas of the z-sphere you kept it and drew the adaptive next to it then somehow merged them together and continued to work (I'm guessing because you wanted to keep the perameters identical ie size and placement) Thanks again!

hi Uber,

If you get the Practical Guide there is a whole step by step tutorial on how to make armor as well as many other great tutorials from some of the best Zbrushers around.

I don't have the link in front of me at the moment but you can find it from the home page or do a search.
