Considering all replies from the "mac vs pc" post, my decision is PC.
Now I ask the PC users their experience regarding make, model and MFG.
I require laptop portablility/with docking ie: desktop replacement ($2500 max)

With the laptop be sure and get one with a 3 yr warranty.

Also you need to decide if you want battery life: go cetnrino

or if you will always have available power for one of the beasts of a laptop.
