Hi Guys, I'm trying to learn ZB 2. Here's my first try at a head.

I'm at an impass though, I can't paint any color on top of the material with Projection master.
Aurick was trying to help, but I think he's rather busy. Could you hop over and check out my help threads?
Question 1 (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=4&t=001587)
Question 2 (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=4&t=001582)
I'm so stuck it's frustrating. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

If you click projection master/color only
you should be able to paint on top of material. Make sure only RGB is on and not material.
Sometimes texture master/projection master loads the texture you have loaded before you hit PM ......make sure no texture is loaded while in PM and see if it works then.

Thanks for responding aminuts,
I'm a little unclear about how not to load texture, I believe all tools load with some Material event if it's fast shader, am I correct?
I drop my tool with PM with only color active, Z add off, M off, RGB active and at 100 intesity but cannot paint ontop of the "skin" material.
Could it be a problem with my custom skin material?
Unfortunately I saved my tool after embedding the skin material with it. Is there a way to delete the material and start with a clean tool (no embedded material)?

Problem solved.
After 2 days of banging my head I realized the multiply button had to be activeated in the colrize S1 shader, otherwise the whole shader is opaque and will not show paint.
Finally, now I can get back to painting!

Alright, finished the warrior section of the practical manual. Just thought I'd share the result after all my griping.

Glad you discovered the solution!
warrior looks great!
I was referring to texture off, not material....two different things but apparently wouldn't have mattered anyway :D
