About two years ago, due to illness, I substituted for a friend of mine as a technical consultant in photography at a graphic arts forum
Because he was a friend, I did it for transportation and lunch. He got the fee. They had great chocolate chip cookies. On our way to the airport we were all given a goodie bag.
In the bag was a book:"Digital Fantasy Painting" by Michael Burns.
The book is a collection of images produced with the software and by artists we all know and love.
Throughout the book, all the popular 3d software programs are explored with explanations on how they were used to create the images.
Zbrush is there with works from Southern.
To date that book and the cookies have cost me one hell of a lot of money.
Over the weekend my friend showed me a new book by the same author called"Femme Digitale".It looks to be about the same type of book with the emphasis on the female form (chauvinistic).
There is a 6 page section of the book detailing the work of Poser and Zbrush together.
If you don't have the thirty dollars for the book the Zbrush Section starts on page 96-101.
If you can afford the book, buy it.
The artist that created the zbrush section is
Chris Palomino.
I was not given the book nor was I given any more chocolate chip cookies.
So I will be going to Amazon.
I don't like my friend as much
