I want to use splines (imported or native) to make displcements in mechanical models. Can Zbrush do this? or use them to snap a brush to them?

I'm afraid not but that sort of thing would be easy to do with masking and projection master!

do you mean masking by hand painting on the model? like if you wouold do i=on a mask layer in photoshop? I'm not familiar with zbrush, but I would like to know what can it do to see if it would work for my desired workflow. If you can explain a bit more I would highly appreciate it. Thanks for your help.
