Hi This is my new Giant concept really quick to study all the potencial of Z_BRUSH.

Done in 3 hours last night, I really love this Software but I cant get the alphas to work as I want.

When I paint the Alphas in projection mode when I am happy with them and I drop them done in to the model they get more blurry I dont know why my Alphas get blurrer when I drop them, They dont maintain the high detail

This is a Mountain Giant, concept that I want to create a long time ago.

Thanks:

Looks cool! For the blurry textures try increasing the size of your texture maps.
Hope that helps! - Baz

How I could get that alpha detail of the Skin sharper??

When I paint my alphas and detail in my model It seems to get really blured when I project them and I dont get as much sharp alpha as other people......
Why???

Thanks:

If you want to paint high detail in ProjectionMaster, which is bump (or other extruding type) next to color, you need to increase the polycount aswell in the aria you want to texture (might be the whole giant, so that's gonna be a giant load of work :p ). Increasing the textureresolution will only give you better results with color, for high quality bump you need to subdivide the mesh (and maybe make a displacement map later if the high polynumbers start to get the better of your computer).

Great giant by the way, would love to see it finished, good luck :)

Really nice model. What's the ridge around his neck? Looks like somebody ripped his neck skin off.

Your skin (alpha) detail looks just fine to me how it is. Nice and organic.
