I found a company recently that invented a new jpg they call it jpeg2 I downloaded a demo but it didn't load properly. Now I've lost all the details and can't find who the company was. damn.
from memory I think it may be a lossless jpeg. also I think if an image is saved in jpg2 it cannot be opened without the plug in.

It sounds very interesting, but they want $50 for the software, that's a little too much for me, being that I wouldn't use it that much. Heheheh ;)

Yes it looks like the Lura jp2 was the one, thanks.
I've looked at them both. I think I was under the impression that the jp2 was going to be lossless but this appears not to be the case.
