New face w/skin material

Argh! Why is it that everytime I use the skin material I have to randomly play around with all the settings for 2 hours to get it right? ARGH! And can anyone tell me how to accentuate the shadows? The colors all seem pretty washed out without the shadows...

Anyhow here's my new stuff, well, actually it's only one new thing, hope you like it and I would be glad to recieve any comments tips or whatever. Thanks! Thank especially to SoK for his material! Happy Z-brushing!
