Here's my first post using ZB2. The zombie model was made in Silo and then rendered in messiah:studio 2 beta.

And here's another render - the original image was rendered at 2880 x 2048 with displacement mapping, GI, volumetric lighting, raytracing ... the works. Without the volumetric lighting, the image rendered in 1 min 54 seconds at AA Level 2, that's pretty damn fast. With the volumetric lighting, it increased it to 7 min 42 sec. This render was brought into Photoshop to tweak the Levels to add a bit more contrast. Other than that - it's a straight render from messiah. I think it has a painterly look about it.

This is with a PIV 3.0Ghz, 800Mhz FSB, 2GB RAM, GeForce FX 5900 ultra

well the lighting definitely sets the mood for this piece....a zombie...caught in between heaven and hell (via the lighting)...the tired and tormented look on his haggard face...only mission in "life" is to find a tasty morsel of flesh to ease the pain of existence....to fill the empty void of wanting....Great update....I hope to see more of these type images from you soon. Thank you for sharing.
