Hey there!

Here's an entry in the spirit of this month. Lots of cool images submitted here recently. So much to learn still...but now it's time for bed...sleep tight!

Very nice image. You have developed a skin texture/material that is very much your own and I`m not having a dig at you personally :)

WOW, <shudder>

This is creepy! The mix of a frighteningly realistic zombie-thing with a mundane backdrop of wood siding and a porch light makes me want to jump up and lock the door, set a chair under the knob, and load the gun. And I'm sitting in my office at work right now!!

I agree; the image is awesome. What impresses me the most about it is the lighting. You have all the shadows in just the right amounts and in just the right places for the light to believably be coming from the lamp. ::Sweet job!

Thank you all. I did put effort into the lighting, so I'm glad it shows. It's funny, but when I posted the image I was happy with the overall brightness of the image, but when
I returned to it the next day I felt it was too dark as most of the right side was black and wondered what happened. Perhaps I had been staring at it too long the day before (this can happen), or I did reduce the image
size a bit, so that may have been it.

So, I've just lightened the image a bit to the level I had created it at, and put it back up. Do you like it better?

yeah, i like this version even better because now la luna shines her light on the visitor in a much more visible way! :D

Great image Ken! :)
Definetly a scary pic. I think the lighting is awsome, and the modeling is really cool too. The scary over the ordinary also makes in cool. :tu:

This has a much different feeling than before. Now I get the idea that he's lurking around behind my house trying to figure out how to get in. Yikes

I agree. He was great before, but even better now. Nice job. How did that blocky effect manage to creep into a few spots in the shadows, though? That's strange.

Anyway, I hope you've posted this in the Halloween thread. It's brilliant work. ;)

Third time's a charm.

Thank you aurick for calling my attention to the blocky shadows. That was just a very bad JPEG image. I wasn't paying attention.

Hopefully you won't here from me again on this post.

Carry on.

Wow. That made a huge difference. Now there is no doubt at all that this version is better than the darker one. He's one creepy guy, and thanks to this pic I think I'm going to sit Halloween out this year.
