Just a few images to help show what lighting can do for you.

Wonderful input for everybody, including us guys who have been around a while...you can tend to get in a rut without fresh viewpoints from time to time, and this forum is great for dispelling that. Thanks, Glen!

Great show and tell Southern, I am sure some people will now see the Z Light :) Everytime I see an image with a photshop light filter I cringe, so much more is possible right in zbrush where the render can interact with the objects in space.
That little old man character is just great :) :tu: :tu: :tu:
Wow, thanks Southern! I've been experimenting with lighting my last couple of images. Seeing it so well laid out is great.
I've noticed that the depth on lighting and other render settings uses a different scale than the rest of the image depth. How do you set it right? For example, something is placed at -500 on your drawing, where would you place the lighting or depth cue?
Outstanding tips, South! Thanks to you once again for illustrating that in such a comprehensive manner.
