Hi ZBrushers,
i have a problem with OBJ format.
With some small OBJ i can import and edit (pressing 't') without problem; with others OBJ (bigger) i can import but can't edit it, i can only edit it in Move Mode (pressing 't' and 'w').
Please tell me where i was wrong.

'Morning Cameyo . . . :)

"i can import but can't edit it", I have not run across this problem before, so I don't have a solution for your problem. I'm wondering though, could it be that the file your importing is a very large file??? If it is a very large file, maybe it's taking ZBrush a little while to respond to your commands, due to the file size??? I don't know what else might be the problem, as I stated earlier I've not had this problem before. Actually, I don't remember ever reading any posts from other users having this problem either, but that doesn't mean that nobody has.

I'm sure as soon as someone from Pixologic reads your post, they will respond with some type of help, to solve your problem. ;)

Sorry I couldn't give you any suggestions on how to solve your problem. Have a good one . . . Mark.

Hi Kruzr,
thank you for reply.
I hope the people at PIXOLOGIC will solve this.
Anyway, the problem arise with very big OBJ (5 Mb or more). I don't think it's due to slow PC (Pentium III with 256 Mb and Matrox 400 32 Mb).
I can send the model to PIXOLOGIC, if they want.

Hi Cameyo,

How much RAM do you have? How many megs is the OBJ that you are trying to import?

Could you please record a ZScript while you are trying to import and edit this large OBJ. Then send the ZScript along with the OBJ (compressed as much as possible) to myself:

verna@pixologic.com

Thanks, Happy ZBrushing!
