Hi there. I am currently experimenting with ZBrush. Allthough it's not that easy to understand the interface with all this pop-ups and pop-downs and pop-inbetweens, the programm is just great. And in some way absolutely unique. My question here is the following: I would like to use ZBR to finetune images coming from cinema 4DXL and vic versa. No, how to I import a scene from there or have a model from ZBR going to the cinema 4DXL? Please see the attached sketches that where made with cinema 4DXL and finetuned in Photoshop. I would love to redo the sketches in ZBR (especially the texturing on the "AXXIS"-logotype...). Thanks for your help.

http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1001924370ysv.jpg

sailor, i also use cinema 4d with zbrush...and from my experience you cannot use the dxf export from C4D to Zbrush. just doesnt work. the OBJ works...although everything gets flipped(make sure normals are aligned!!). In order to import...open the star polygon tool and under modifiers/inventory you will have the option to import obj or dxf. use dxf and you should not have a problem. it will give you the textures and what not as well

correction:

"use obj and you shouldnt have a problem"

Heck, thanks a lot for your hint! Well, in order to process any further, I found out, that I have to buy the full version, since all of the methods you described does'nt seem to work in the demo. Sig. Well, anyway, thanks a lot. I'll be back soon with some examples. PS: Liked your work on your website. Nice. :tu:

Thanks for your warm welcome. I'll be back for more. Hope my small brain finally meets up with all of the ZBR-windows and menues. Haha.
