hi all. this is my first attempt at modelling a polymesh object.

I'm having some trouble thinking the thing out; how am I going to put the figure together after I'm done, into a polumesh?
will the materials stay the same, or be replaced by my currently selected one? what is the meaning of life? I'll have to wait and find out, I guess. any hints would be favourite.

here's a hand and wrist of my black orc model, inspired by Citadel Miniatures and Southern's own dragon model (check out the "baby dragon" thread") painted in enamel colours. this takes me back to the days I used to paint Warhammer models...

Hi, Chris. Kruzr is the polymesh/MultiMarker expert here. Check out his glasses modeling thread, where he's got a script on the subject. If you ask him nicely, he might send you the version that I turned into a tutorial, too... :)

Here's the link to the script's thread: Polymesh Glasses ZScript (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=001686)

'Afternoon Cneofotistos . . . :)

The ZScript is in the mail! :D

The version I'm sending you is a lot more informative, ( thanks to Aurick ), than the 1st one that I posted. ;)

I hope it helps you understand the "PolyMesh" tool a little more after watching it. Have a good one . . . Mark.

PS: ( Hi Aurick, GEEZZZ, I wish you were over here today, I could use some more of your help with my house cleaning. My maid quit, just because she expected me to pay her??? ) Heheheh.

well... maybe *I* would. depends on how close Mark comes to being a cute boy.

I'd have to shave off the goatie, of course :)

btw, aurick and kruzr, thanks a million for the zscript. it would've taken me hours of experimenting to figure setting up the markers correctly out.

gotta go cook some food :) orcs can always wait.

HA HA HA . . . :D :D :D

Oh well, thanks anyway Aurick, I'll just have to do my own house cleaning. I just don't understand it though, you would think that some wonderful young lady would love to clean my house, just for having the pleasure of being around me while they cleaned??? ;) Heheheh.

Hey Cneofotistos . . . :)

"depends on how close Mark comes to being a cute boy", I've got to tell you, I'm 6 ft. 3 in. tall, I weigh about 215 lbs., & I don't think that I've been referred to as "cute" since I was about 6 years old, and I also sport a goatee. So please don't start saving up your money to fly over here to California from Greece, just to do my house cleaning. You'd be a very disappointed individual. :( Heheheh.

But wait a minute . . . I wonder what you might look like in a "Maid's Uniform"??? HHHmmmmmmm.

Have a good one guys, & I'll talk to'ya later . . . Mark.

Kruzr,

I would like that script, too. I'm trying to make a strawberry (lots of seeds attached to the body). It's coming along OK and what I've got so far looks fantastic, but there is something I don't understand about using markers.

Thanks in advance,

Jay :tu:

'Morning Jaycephus . . . :)

You can download the revised ZSript, "PolyMesh Glasses ZScript 2", at the link below, I reposted it yesterday. ;)

I hope it will help you in understanding further the "MultiMarker & PolyMesh" portion of ZBrush. If you have any questions after viewing the Script, please let me know & I'll try to answer any questions.

Have a good one . . . Mark.
