Hey, Frenchy, that was a very cool link. I've read Widowmaker (Mike Resnick) and The Voyage (David Drake) and still have my copies with D.G. covers.

I often wonder, though, if the cover illustrator actually reads the whole book before creating the cover. Sometimes I think not.

and luckily his site has a link to the website of Stephan Martiniere (http://www.martiniere.com/) -- an artist whose name I have been trying to remember recently
