hi HimiCo and welcome! :)

when you use the mrgbz-grabber correctly (right, just drag the mouse from the center of the region of the canvas or the whole thing you want to grab towards the outside without releasing the button) 2 things are created: an alpha and a texture. you will find them in the alpha or the texturepalette respectively ready for use as brushtop (alpha) or yes: texture :D ... hope this helps!

Also, the texture and alpha are both made active. It's easy to forget that alpha part, though, and then wonder why your brush strokes suddenly look funny. :rolleyes:

Also, make sure not to click the right mouse button during the drag. This will cancel the grab though the drag rectangle stays. :)
