I have been using ZBrush for about a year. Watching a few ZScripts made me realize how little I know about it. And I would always avoid the tools I didn't understand. Watching a couple of the Modeling scripts brought me a little closer and gave me a couple more tools to use: Markers and 3DCopy...

nice pic.
yeah i was the same way you were.
sure is nice when you can sit there and watch some thing be made in front of your eye's..
and i relize it can be done heck i thought most of the people were copying over pic they found.
then after seeing Zscript i knew rigth then that all this stuff was hand made thats what made me come back.

Yeah, ZScripts are awesome learning tools. I learned a lot from just looking at someone's art and trying to figure out how they had done it -- necessity being the mother of invention, and all that -- but life was sure made nicer when 1.23 came along. Whether the script takes the form of an interactive tutorial or is simply a replay of how someone did something, there is definitely an advantage to being able to see the whole creative process from start to finish.

Maybe that's why we're suddenly seeing so many "newbie masters"...

It definitely puts learning ZBrush light years ahead of any other graphics program.

Kaz, I really like those teeth that you gave him. Between the gum line and the distinct types of teeth, they are very believable.
