Beautiful modeling! I love the beam of light coming in. Excellent coloring/shading.

I love the bluriness, it makes it feel like looking at a lost memory of being at the Musée. :)

This rates 1000 on a scale of 10. It's very hard to stop looking at this. Your sculpting is as masterful as Moore's. The grainy glow really puts it over the top.

Yeah. What they said. ;)

You definitely have a way of always producing something new and different with everything that you produce. I think that my favorite part of this one is the shafts of light. You've also done an excellent job with the selective blurriness to simulate a tight camera focus.

Top notch work, as usual, Joe!

Now I will have to further my art education and look for Henry Moore! The light and contrast in this image is wonderful. It is as if windblown sand has carved out these sensual objects. :tu: :tu: :tu:

impending, this is astounding! it is also extraordinarily greek in concept. I know of Henry Moore, and he knew of ancient cycladitic art (cyclades is an island complex in greece), which comprised of male and female figures made of marble and with strikingly substractive features, also full of big, artistic and sensual curves and holes.

a big thumbs up for the composition as well.
this feels like home for my aesthetic culture. thanx for sharing.

quote:
ethnic art usually sux, because western cultures never understand them. you may already taking great pride on your ancient chinese tapestry, which might have been nothing more than a mestruation cloth in ancient china. only few may correctly perceive and incorporate it in modern art without unwittingly making a fool of themselves. :)
