I've been working since morning on this sculpt, a zombie. And about an hour ago I saw the Halloween Challenge.
Decided to use it in the challenge.
The process I used it's straight forward.Grabbed a default sphere , activated symmetry , and started sculpting. Afterwards , I used a zsphere for the base mesh of the mandibula . For the teeth I used another sphere which I duplicated a number of times , and each time altering the shape to resemble the different types of teeth.
Here is what I came up with till now.
This is not finished.

So, this guy is clueless of what brains really are. His after anything shaped as a head. And lets face it, those pumpkins are asking for it, glowing like that in the dark.
Here is a wip image.

Did some polypaint for this guy.
I'm starting a process of retopology for him.
Trick question: Can we use photoshop for post procesing the image?277803
Cool! The polypainting's looking good.
I think you know the answer, but no, you can't use Photoshop. This challenge is for Pixologic to show that we are using all the new features of ZB R2, including the post process render filters :D
Cheers,
Rory
I would say that you can use photoshop if you need to as the rules say "1:Your entry must have a Halloween theme. 2:Your entry should be created entirely in ZBrush". The fact that the rules say that your entry should be created entirely in zbrush and NOT that it must be indicates to me that you may use other software but keep it to a minimum. Although having said that I would avoid using photoshop for post and try to use the bpr filters because as Rory_L has pointed out this contest is really about showing off the versatility of zbrush.
any ways apart from all that I'm likeing this zombie. The polypaint is looking awesome.
