Death Waits Patiently

I love Halloween and spent much of my childhood doing local contests for the holiday, so I'm really excited about this one.

This is my take on Death. I first thought of doing a take on the classic skeleton in a robe with a scythe, but it seemed too obvious. I wanted something reminiscent of that, but more ancient, a little more pagan, more animal. I won't be able to work on it much until next week and that doesn't give me a lot of time for what I'd like to do. Hopefully I can get it done by the Halloween deadline. So I thought I'd at least share my design and I'll update as I go. I hope you guys like it.

That is a really fine piece of artwork. Youre mood setting/grasp on anatomy/2D rendering are all incredible. I really hope to see this visualized in Zbrush. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I can't wait to start sculpting, but I won't be able to start until Monday. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday I'll post some progress and maybe a video.
