After I was able to create water with some consistency, I have been asked how I did my water. I have posted several Zscripts in several threads, well as expected I came up with a very easy way to make water. The beauty with this technique, is that you can control the perspective of the waves. that is larger in the foreground becoming smaller as the waves move towards the horizon line.
For those of you creating sea images and are having problems, I hope this helps. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1022903573ucs.jpg !Easy Way to make SeaWater.txt (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_file-1022903606mzy.txt)

Joe, this is fantastic. I saw your comments earlier today about 'Zoid's water method', but I think my method has been trumped recently by Scougall's water move(with Juandel's interpretations), Christos' dragon tempest, and now your wonderful technique. I think I spent half an hour once trying to get this effect, and you seem to do it in four brush strokes  The most interesting thing about this program is to see how it stimulates different imaginations :tu:

Thank you Zoid. I will never forget your coming to my aid with that first water script. That is why I call it the Zoid method modified, because it is really your method. Your method is also good for clouds so I find it very handy.

Wierd, I don't remember seeing this from before, but it's a great idea. It can be so hard otherwise to get the perspective into ripples/waves. :)

Thanks for the water script DeeVee, but I can't seem to catch everything that you do in the zscript. Particularily when you make the oval for the water itself. The tools look like you are using a simple brush but when I try I can't use the transformer, or get into edit mode. Can you please tell me what you do there. I am stuck!

just hit w or e with simple and other 2.5d brushes right after doing a stroke to get into gyro mode... with depth (3d) brush you might even use rotate - to snapshot to be able to drag a copy of the stroke to another place on the canvas press shift + s. hope this helps!
