Well I love to tinker with ZSpheres and I have quite a collection of them floating around in my hard drive. I thought I would share them with you and to that end I have created this thread...an ideal place for all my WIP critters and test monsters to dwell. Admission to this freak show is just a measly single click of a button. :D So come one and all to the Marvelous(? ) Mentat Monstrous Menagerie....
Oh and did I say? I plan on sharing the ZSpheres for each of these unholy pips.
We shall start off with this lil' feller...

A charming beast. I also have one. I keep one in my pocket and feed it on crumbs and old bus tickets.
Have you got anything cute for the kids, this one looks like a biter?
Your nimble with those Zspheres. :tu: :tu:

Great work as usual Lonnie.. it is a cute little specimen if cute is the right word.. I hope you post a lot of these with the tools so I can get to use some of them :) :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :D
Your ZSphere constructs are beeyouteeful!
Amazing detailing and meticulous work, +very good zsphere/polygon structure.
Although I have a question, I notice you add triple joints on the figure, perhaps to help with posing better but how do you move the individual chain without dragging the link sphere or crunching on the chain with Alt dragging.
Say you want to move the arms, without affecting the fingers, etc, from a base sphere?

Hi Gummie...in that case I simply use EDIT>ROTATE and rotate the arm around on the elbow sphere. Same thing with all the joints. Rotate the joint sphere not the links.
Thanks Mentat, I don't usually think of using Rotate, but I still can't get any free rotation as for example using the gyro. I have only been able to move them sideways (downmost sphere) and inwards (upper joint sphere)...afterthought: until I just accidentally flickered around the LINK sphere! Wow, this is amazing. :)
This encourages me to do more modelling, lol. :)

Here's another one to add to the collection. I may one day create a full blown project from him...model it some more etc. but right now I just have too many projects going on. :)

Hi Marciani :) This was done from a Unified Mesh. The hands haven't had anything done to them yet...they are just basic mesh from the skinning. :)
