Can anyone give me pointers on manipulating polygons to achieve detail on a mesh.a memeber was kind enough to give me script that i dont understand.I dont understand how he smooths the object on the fly, and what controls he uses to move and manipulate the polygons. Also i dont understand how this script relates to the pic i have submitted.Notice the arrows indicate the type of detail i would like to achieve on the surface of models to simulate, clothing, ties, pockets, etc.The pic and script where not created by me.They belong to another member.Used here only as reference http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200404/user_image-1080901973oud.jpg

Hi JUSTNPROUD i suggest that before run the Rafael script press in the script panel "Show action and notes" to see step by step and that will allow you to see how Rafael reached that beutiful modeling details.
Thank for your attention

Justin,
In Z2 while in Transform/Edit/Draw mode you can hold down the Shift key and smooth the polygons. This smooth brush feature is awesome.
For the edge-like areas, you could use the Layer Brush and the Pinch Brush options to define the edges rather easily. Both of these options are found in the Transform Palette. These options only work while in Transform/Edit/Draw mode.
Best Regards,
Michael

Justin,
[Shift+F] will put your model in Draw Polyframe mode. This will let you see all your polygons and groups.
This site has an upload limit of 200k, you can probably just zip your file.
Adios,
Michael

Ok here is another quick script that I hope will make it clearer. The technique is quite simple just pull lines of points together where you want a sharp edge. I actually advise you to use the tools on the new version instead of this method. This method works but is time consuming.
