here's a creature guy i did, all Z, trying to copy marcel's style. it's only a test, so don't laugh. i thought i did okay, but i wanted feedback from the rest of you. i'm not too proud of the background-i've never been good at skies and this one was whipped up real quick. anyway, the models were placed all on one layer and then painted over with the simplebrush, color black, with different tool sizes and RGB intesities. well, that's about all...i just wanted to see what ya'll thought and to get any tips or suggestions. thanks...

P.S. i put this guy in this pose, thinking he might be a gargoyle hanging on to the side of a cathedral or something, but i never really figured out how all the details were going to work. i didn't worry about it, cuz it was just a test image, but if anyone has any suggestions of what he might be doing, please share...maybe i can further this pic into a fishished project.
thanks again...

hey Josh, nice demon dude!!! You might put some sort of stakes behind him that his is chained to and maybe a fire under him...The villagers captured him and is putting him to death by fire :) just a thought....keep the Z alive!!! :tu: :tu:

Looks like a top view looking down, the sky falling away beneath him. I'd imagined him strapped to something falling. If you strapped him to a bomb ala Dr Strangelove he would become a demonic representation of man's desire for war.

The charcoal feel is very effective. :tu:
