now this looks great! judging from the keyring you posted earlier, i expected something impressive, but this just leaves me gaping in awe.
you might even call it *fini* as is, the mixture of 3d and sketched elements sure is convincing.
funny, that you did the keyring first, btw.

I like where your taking this. The flesh textures are very "Spawnish," which is a high compliment. :) :tu:

Super work. The deep lines, lighting, and choice of color all result in a very powerful image. Definitely take your time on this, but I can't wait to see it done!

Hey Lev!

Am I see something similar before?...Huumm?
Ah ah ah!
Great technic for modelisation.
You place a drawing on a layer and work on above layer.
I've done this for the cop and it's the best way to respect proportion.
Let see the rest..Sure it'll be cool man!

increadible, levius, absolutely increadible. the arm is fantastic and the rough look on the face is very cool. when i draw pumped muscle-men, i think it's so cool when the have giant arms. that's one reason i like this pic so much. can't wait to see it finished...

josh

P.S. about hands, well i can't really help you there, because i suck at making them. i usually just import a Poser hand in the position i want it and edit it in Zbrush. good luck on the rest of this project!

flamable

BTW I would really like to know how you did the stuff on the side of his head. is it modeling of something else?

Thanx Kathy, jibberish, flamable...

About the stuff on the side of his head :D, its mostly texture and color bump material,
you can download that texture from :

Here are a couple of hand tutorials for you:

Southern's (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=001477)
cneofotistos' (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=001986)

(By the way, the Quick Links is an awesome resource for stuff like this -- and if you're running Internet Explorer, then Ctrl-F will pull up a dialog box that will let you find any word on an HTML page. I found both of these there in 10 seconds by simply typing "hand".) ;)

Very, very impressive work Levius! Are you modeling him... or just building layers of depth? I know it is probably a dumb question but I am a newbie and am very curious!
Excellent work!
