Love your lighting, Pix. It gives everything life... if that makes sense. As if you could reach out and touch them.

Is there going to be an indepth explanation for idiots like me? I've played with all the different settings, but find that effect ellusive.

Seeing that lizard with its material on gives an astounding effect!

The "test image" as well-- incredible fire effect! :)

 :tu: :tu: :tu:

It looks like there is a lot of JPEG compression on that first pic. I wonder how good it would look uncompressed!

Can anyone give tips on achieving not only the lighting, but the tile floor? I bet that was created in Z, not an imported texture.

For the tiled floor you could draw a plane on the canvas having the draw mode in polyframe mode and use a noise material.

Ice and fire...
Nice test image and model Ofer...!
Is that the Highlighter 2 brush for the fire? It's a very useful and controllable tool, and I was curious...

haha, I agree, the pixmyster along with so many other Znuts, make this stuff look way too easy... the best part though is that with a bit of practice it really is this easy... that's the point of ZBrush... making stuff easier and looking sweet... :D

nice lizzy... :D

well, i have very crude memories of what we learned about the cardio-vascular reaction to climatic surroundings of reptiles in school only, but i think lizzy’s burst of fire is another (wowzer) depiction of a z-soul departing its body (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=008057) :D

anyway, thanks to you, its alive in the zipfile, a most wonderful model and a fantastico present you gave to us! thanks, Pixolator! :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:
