H all, fisrt post. Bin using Zbrush for a few weeks now and totally loving it. My friend at work did the sketch for a game we are making (www.dragonempires.com) but sadly they rejected the design. I liked the design so much tho, so I thought I'd use it as a test to see what I could get out of Zbursh.

Wow that's nice. Is that made with zspheres or a molded primitive? Any chance you could post a mesh?
Really,really great,i love it!

Really impressive! Great shading and skin tone, it looks very alive and "hand-made" (if you catch my drift).
Very well done slow boy, very impressive design and modelling/texturing work...could we see an untextured version please...thanks :)

Thanks for the kind words all :] Must say I've been very impressed with just how intuitive Zbrush can become, once you've got your head through the frankly wierd interface!
Amsmf - It started as a sphere; I would post a mesh shot, but I'm sure you've all seen a mangled sphere before! Topology certainly isn't something Zbrush seems too concerned about.
Skaven - yeahm thanks, it kind of felt like making it by hand too. It's a very liberating process to model and texture this way - producing the same kind of end result in Max would've taken TEN times longer (not joking) and I'm convinced it wouldn't have the same feel to it as this does.
Kircho - might have an untextured shot around, I'll have a look.
Mentat - Believe me, I've tried eyes! I had a nasty feeling that adding eyes would completely ruin the tone of the model and several attempts have proved this theory correct :] Whenever I put yes in things they always feel really stupid, and to be honest I still haven't quite got my head round Multi Markers yet, and while we're on the subject, isn't scaling a complete b*tch?! The movement, scale and rotation gizmos are a travesty, mostly useless. The tutorials say 'move the coloured part' - it'a ALL in colour! And still nothing rotates :[ Maybe it's just me...anyone?
Finally
MrBraun - consider it finished, I'm bored now :D
Cheers All.
